LaMMA Consortium and ARPAT developed an information system on air quality conditions, relative to PM10 during the winter season and O3 during the summer period. PM10 From 1st November to 31st March, LaMMA Consortium provides forecasts for the weather conditions able to inhibit dispersion and promote accumulation of air pollutants. This information together with the PM10 data registered by ARPAT monitoring network provide a daily index named ICQA (criticality index for air quality). See PM10 bulletin in IT (external web page) Ozone From 1st May to 30th September LaMMA Consortium provides a forecast for the weather conditions able to influence the ozone level over Tuscany region areas. This information together with the ozone data registered by ARPAT monitoring network provide an indicator based on three different levels: standard, warning and alarm.
